Julian’s Bio:

Throughout his nonprofit career, Julian Domanico has advocated for education equity in public schools, for juveniles in placement, marginalized persons (with emphasis on people of color and the LGBTQ+ community), and for public policy issues impacting millennials.

Julian holds an appointed seat as the Vice-Chair of the Philadelphia Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Committee, serves as the Board Secretary for the LGBTQ+ fundraising nonprofit, the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund (DVLF), is the Board Vice-Chair of the urban education nonprofit, UrbEd, Inc., and the Democratic Committee Person representative for Ward 5, Division 11. He also models professionally for Reinhard Models and Talent Agency in Philadelphia and BMG Models, Inc in New York.

Julian will be discussing the intersectionality of being a LGBTQ+ person of color from an immigrant family. He will talk about how the interplay of these cross sections of his life helped him to navigate the forces of toxic masculinity and now influence his advocacy work.
